Hello!I'm considering using PlastiDip to paint the fuel tank on an older motorcycle. I've used PlastiDip quite a bit in the past, but this motorcycle was produced in Germany shortly after oil-based paints were disallowed (2004). Because they had to switch paints from the regular stuff they were using, the paint on the bike is now in poor condition. The finish of PlastDip looks very similar to the satin finish of the original paint, but I'm hoping to cover up lots of scratches and the like. I'm just worried about the PlastiDip not adhering well to the water-based coating.I plan to sand it with 300ish grit paper first, then clean it with PrepAll if it matters.Anyone have experience with this pairing?
