So I just noticed this Y-shaped crack in a spare bedroom, which couldn't have been there more than 3 months ago. Inspecting it did pull it back a little (making it a slightly worse), but it does not feel damp and I had my roof replaced 6 months ago, so it doesn't seem likely it's a result of water intrusion especially since it rains daily here. I've tried doing some research, but most references I find online discuss hairline cracks, which this clearly isn't.
