I'm new to Thredup and have been trying to figure out the site's mystifying auto-buy and reservation policies. When I first signed up, items in my cart were only reserved for 12 hours. I made my first purchase using the 30 percent off code for new users, and for the past day, I've been shopping some more, and noticed that items are now reserved in my cart for a full 24 hours.
That brings me to my question: I had a striped tank in my cart for 24 hours and was told that it would be reserved for me until then. The 24-hour reservation recently ended, and I thought the tank would suddenly vanish from my cart, but it's still there. So it's in my cart, but not reserved for me. Since it isn't reserved, could another person buy it out from under me despite the fact that it's technically in my cart?
