I need to dye my faded black denim shorts into a super dark black but I've never dyed clothes before and don't know if RIT brand liquid or powder dye is better. I read that the liquid dye will dye 3 yards worth of fabric using only 1/2 the bottle while the powder dye will also dye 3 yards worth of fabric but you'll have to use up the whole box. My shorts are obviously only like 1 yard of fabric so I thought the powder might be a better idea... but is the powder dye as potent as the liquid dye? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2paIuw9
