I'm getting married and neither I nor my groom want to wear rings. I'm looking for a bifl alternative that can be engraved with the date of the wedding, but is also a useful item.
I was thinking of a compass but haven't come across one that looks nice as well as looking like it'd last. My groom is a vegetable farmer who loves cooking, insects, bird watching, hillwalking and drinking whisky. He studied zoology.
Any ideas?
