I started job A a week ago, and yesterday was offered job B. I think job B is a better fit, has better benefits, and pays $10k more. Job A is a good job too, and they are looking to me for a huge portion of their future (it’s a management role with a lot of input on company vision)
Job B wouldn’t start for two weeks. I’m pretty sure I’m taking it, but feel terrible for doing this to job A. I want to tell them as soon as possible, keep the relationship, and still look out for myself
What is the best way to proceed?
