I've had these leather Reef Fanning sandals through college and five years of professional life. The little part that joins the top and bottom finally gave out and I ordered my first sandals in 9 years to replace them. They're also my go-to backpacking sandal for relief after taking off hiking boots. They've seen peaks and trails in Michigan, West Virginia, Colorado, California, Oregon, Montana, British Columbia, Germany, and Austria. They've been to the Atlantic and Pacific, all five great lakes, and a whole bunch of inland Michigan lakes. And they have a bottle opener in the bottom. Never thought I'd get sentimental about a sandal, but these guys have been with me through a lot. Looking forward to the new ones.
