Hey, everyone. I wish I had pictures of this truck but I have had personal experience with this vehicle. My grandpa used to own a 1994 Ford F-350 with a Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic transmission. He bought it brand new off the lot in September 1993, 4X4, XLT trim, crew cab, and a long bed. Its whole life, he did the oil every 5K, transmission fluid and coolant flush every 30K, and the rear gear fluid every 60K. He used it for road trips and towing his boat and it's faced a lot of adversity. It's done a lot of offroading, a lot of heavy pulls, driven through horrendously bad weather conditions, and seen all the abuse a truck will see.
2 years ago, he traded it in for a brand new Ford F-150. At the time, he laid down over 330,000 miles on the truck and it only left him on the side of the road one time when the lift pump when out in 2004 but he replaced it with a higher flowing, aftermarket version. It still had the stock transmission, never had the a/c go out, and had the radio replaced. That was it. Nothing else broke on the truck aside from what was expected. The engine still made nearly full compression after all that time later and the only reason he sold it was because he sold his sailboat and didn't need diesel torque to pull anything anymore. He managed to get in contact with the person who bought it now who owns a landscaping company and it still runs great and gets right at 20 miles per gallon highway in its old age. If I can get in contact with the guy, I'll go buy it myself.
I wish I had pictures for everyone but I don't. It was red with a white stripe running horizontally around the truck. Had some hail dents but was clean all around. Great truck. I was going to have it as a hand me down until my mom spoiled that. Any of you in the need for a car, especially a truck that is reliable, get you a 1994.5-1997 Ford truck with the diesel motor. The dang thing won't quit. Just a bulletproof vehicle.
