What is the cup/bowl called that sits around the flush valve? It stops the reservoir from emptying all the water into the toilet. I recently replaced my flush valve and kept this bowl piece and put it on the new one. Is it necessary? I’m having some leaking from the nuts even though they’re new as well and all the washers are on correctly. I’d like to eliminate this as a suspect if possible.
