Hey, this is my first post here although I've been subscribed and lurking this sub reddit since a very long time. I love learning alot from here however never thought I'd have to make a post here till I'm actually an adult.
Do note I belong to a middle class family in a third world country where expenses aren't a problem since everything is cheap here. I started freleancing and started a health tech startup, i gain $300-$800 from freelancing (content marketing, blog sponsors etc) and $50 salary as CEO from my startup.
I don't have to pay for anything important like bills, taxes etc as my dad is paying them himself so I use that money on myself. I made $800 once and spent that all on a iPhone and ps4 in a jiffy, learnt what I did was wrong and should actually be saving for a rainy day or to invest that money.
So how should I save, what percentage should I save and spend per month etc? Freelancing income is unpredictable so would be nice to let me know in percentages what I should save and where I should save that money?
Thanks :)
Note: Im not american, the community info is literally chinese to me.
