Inspiration PhotoHello everyone! I’m submitting a help request on this form and it is my first time doing so. Hopefully I am abiding by all rules properly.I would like to create preserved dried flower pendants similar to this image with some roses my boyfriend had given me. Currently I am researching and in need of help to figure out what clear resin would work best ( and at an affordable price) to create this. I have worked with ICE RESIN and have noticed it ages to a yellow color quickly as well as does not work for setting dried flower petals. I have tried in the past and it became a mushy nightmare of degrading flowers. I would like to know how I could go about this process- how long should I allow the flowers to dry? should I treat the flowers before setting them in resin? What is the best clear resin to use to achieve this? And lastly what type of molding could I use in order to have this crystal point- esque shape to the pendant? I research possibly a silicon mold that could be reusable but I don’t know how resin reacts to it.Any possible help or inside would be tremendous! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2NMBsbm
