I live in a 900 sq ft one bedroom apartment. There is only a bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and since I am on the top floor there is a loft. I have very high ceilings because of the loft.
I keep my AC at 75-77 and turn off the lights when I am at work during the day. I only have a tv, a few lamps, and a few kitchen appliances plugged in. I do not have a washer/dryer.
My energy bill reads that I use an average of 46 kwh per day!! In a month, I used 1414 kwh which made my bill $165.
That just seems ridiculously high for one person. I am not sure what to do because $165 every month is so expensive. Thank you!
edit: the people that live across from me have the same type of unit. Their electric bill is $60-80 per month. They keep the apartment at 68 and have a washer/dryer
edit 2: I turned off all the breakers in my apartment and the meter outside appears to still be running
