I bought a compressor a couple of months ago. Last weekend I went to buy a framing gun to use for some upcoming projects, but I'm struggling to determine from the information publically available whether the compressor is powerful enough to drive it. Specs below:Ryobi Airwave 2HP CompressorFree Air Delivery: 120 litres / minuteMax pressuere: 115PSITank capacity: 50 litreRyobi Airwave Framing Nailer:Working pressure: 80 - 120PSIAir consumption: 3.1 litres / cycle @ 100PSIMy limited understanding of this is that at 100PSI, the gun should be capable of driving 38 nails a minute (one every roughly 1.5 seconds). I emailed Ryobi directly for more information and they simply said "the nail gun requires 186L/min to operate properly" (information which, incidentally, doesn't exist on their packaging, user manuals, or website). Other information I've read on blogs and such leads me to believe that the airflow simply reduces the fire rate. I feel like I'm missing something in the middle. So, armed with this conflicting information, I'm reaching out to the vast resource that is Reddit so that hopefully people who know more than me can clear it up. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2O4MQj7
