Hello r/simpleliving
Last Saturday Plan A and a group of about 50 wonderful volunteers gave Böcklerpark in Berlin, Germany, a seriously good clean.
The goal was to raise awareness of how waste has crept into everyday life and become a normalised part of our local environments. By the end we had huge piles of plastic, cigarette butts, bottle caps, glass, syringes, and plenty of other weird stuff. It was a great afternoon, but at the same time quite shocking to see the result.
Here is the event report: https://plana.earth/academy/clean-up-bocklerpark/
Events like this are part of Plan A's mission to break down the barriers that can exist between people and climate/ environmental action. We aim to promote discussion and motivation to push for a sustainable future.
We have some exciting stuff in the works, so feel free to follow us on here and other social media to stay up to speed. We love our online community, so the more the merrier!
Thanks for reading!
The Plan A Team.
