My wife wants to quit working when we have a child due the huge costs of daycare and I am trying to see if it's possibly on my salary alone without asking for a huge raise. 10 different sites have 10 different answers on the monthly costs of raising a baby.
Assuming daycare and large one-time expenses (like cribs and such) are taken care of, what are some obvious and not-so-obvious monthly expenses?
