I can't find this information anywhere on Youtube or Google. Most of the videos and tutorials I've seen only focus on one side. I'm attempting to build an infinity mirror of sorts but on both sides, meaning instead of being hung on the wall, it'll sit on a table and can be viewed from both sides and have an infinity effect. My problem is trying to find the best mirror film for the effect. My question is what would be the best VLT% film should I use? I know that the lower the VLT% such as 30% the more light is reflected or blocked from going through? Wouldn't this mean that lower VLT% reflect more light around inside the mirror to provide the infinity effect but make the outside of the mirror a lot darker and harder to see?And on the other end a high VLT% such as 70% would let a lot of light through and out of the mirror and diminish the infinity effect but be easier to see from the outside?Ideally I would want something that provides the best infinity effect possible while being very clear and visible from both sides and I don't know what's the sweet spot. I want to get some input before I start buying stuff and/or wasting time putting things together. This will be my first major project so I don't really know anything about tints, films, or mirror films. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2MTmsIq
