I have a beat up pair of Red Wings, I bought secondhand offline. The toe leather is pretty much gone now after two years and there's literally no tread left. They're extremely comfortable and work in both summer and winter, but I can't find anyone to resole them and I hear rotating out between two different pairs of boots keeps them alive a bit longer.
I'm a petite female, but I do mostly outdoor, manual work. The summers are hot and winters are muddy and icy.
I want a company that has quality boots and a good warranty that I hopefully won't need to use.
Same with socks, tired of Walmart socks getting holes after a few wears in my boots.
