This is the most related sub so I thought I would start off here. I have around $1500 and am also receiving around $780 a week. I transfer all of this to my current account and let it sit. I always see people saying ‘money makes more money’ so I was wondering if maybe you guys could help someone out who is just recently getting into budgeting, managing their finances and slowly starting to invest. What are some ideas you guys have of making your money work for you? Day trading, peer to peer lending, ETFs, savings account? I am young so might be leaning towards more risky and aggressive methods as I thankfully have a great support system to fall back on.

Also, I was wondering if I could be pointed to some books that could increase my ‘finance IQ’. Books on the basics of finance and business to help a beginner find his footing..

TL;DR finance/business books to help increase finance IQ for a beginner. Also ways to make your money work for you

Many thanks in advance
