I'm installing a brand new dryer into my basement in new house and I've run into an issue. The electrical outlet is approx. 25' from the exhaust vent. In a pinch, I hooked up a 25' metal foil exhaust hose just so I could do some laundry.The water hook up is in between the electrical outlet and the exhaust vent. What's the best way to setup the washer/dryer?The only solutions I'm seeing are A: placing the dryer by the electrical outlet and running 25 ft of rigid dryer exhaust tubes to the vent Or B: Buying a ~20ft extension cable to place the dryer by the exhaust vent and running a regular 8ft Semi-rigid exhaust tube to the vent Or C: Religiously cleaning my current metal foil exhaust hose, hoping to prevent it from starting a fire.Any help would be greatly appreciated! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Kqm4iD
