Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm working on planning out a renovation that will include replacing my tub with a walk in shower. If I just measure the tub from edge to edge, it's 57" wide, but from what I can tell, nobody makes a shower base that's 57" wide. Am I supposed to be measuring from where the cement board will be? And if so, would that distance be enough to make up for the 3" difference? If I need to go smaller to a 54" base, what's the best way to deal with the 3" gap it would create? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2OVFf6r
