I'm a broke ex-student in the UK who is really struggling to find any work in any sector at the moment, so while I've had to prioritise some health related things, food has been a bit of a myth in finding good stuff for the stupidly low budget I have these days. I've been getting weaker because of it and mentioned it in passing at the Citizen's Advice place who are helping with other aspects of life at the moment, and I was put in touch with the "No Waste Heroes" who are a local team that buy their own shopping and an extra 10% of stuff each trip to put aside for those who can't afford the full prices so we can buy at a steep discount. I've looked online and there seems to be similar groups all over albeit with very different names, but while it's been a huge help in keeping me fed I thought I would share it on here in case it can help others.
