My wife and I found an old church (about 200 years) selling its original wooden blocks (they are diamond shaped) that they had for their floor. We decided to use them on our outdoor covered patio area and have installed them securely. Unfortunately, now I am stuck. They look great as is but the gaps between them are quite large and I worry about them eventually moving or breaking free being that it is a high traffic area, and also I need to be able to seal them from the elements. I have been researching resin epoxy and I think this might be a good option, but; i have read that if not done correctly this can turn out very badly, and I am not sure if the resin will adequetly fill the gaps. Basically I need some advice on how to best fill these gaps and then seal/protect the floor from the elements. Any advice much appreciated, in over my head a bit with this one, but I will get it figured out. A lot of history in these pieces of wood and I want to make sure I do it right.Edit: I will add a picture when I get home from work via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2wlh4a1
