Hi everyone,I am trying to build a TV lift that can also swivel by 90° (needs to be only one angle, not 45° in 2 directions, if that makes sense).I have tried to research as much as possible. There are solutions in the market for this:Auton TP 38 30 PVT90 ($4,995.00) @ Youtube LinkFLATLIFT FLX-D 65 - 90° swivel (€3,069.00) @ Youtube LinkThis is too expensive for my budget. After learning a lot about actuators and what they can and cannot do, looking at a million TV lifts and swivels. I am at a loss. The sideboard has the following measurements (not 100% set in stone):Width: 1700mmDepth: 400mmHeight: 1060mmThe TV I want to mount is the LG C8 65" with the following measurements:Width: 1449 mmHeight: 831 mmDepth: 47 mmWeight: 21 kgVESA 300x200mmMy solution that I want to propose (a bit annoying that I can't post links, but please google and you should find the full details), here are some pictures:RICOO TV mount SE2544:Pictures: https://ift.tt/2O3neCW 8kgDimensions: see picture, but fits my TVASIN: B00IAM45KQECO-WORTHY Elektrisch höhenverstellbarer TV Lift Standfuß Flachbildschirme 80 cm Hublänge (sorry for the German):Pictures: https://ift.tt/2LMX7Uc max. weight capacity: 75kgASIN: B01M652NUHI basically want to attach the swivel mount (Ricoo) to the lift (eco worthy) by putting a wooden panel in between that is thick enough to hold up the 29kg from the TV + swivel mount. I was thinking about adding some weight to lower the moment and take away from the moment created by the swivel mount.I have created the following Sketchup CAD models, but I am not very skilled in SketchUp. I hope it shows my intention, albeit it poorly, because the wooden panel: CAD sketchesThe sideboard would be in a corner. I don't want to only wall mount, because it looks ugly as **** and I want to be able to store if somewhere, if I don't use the TV. As I've said above, I am a bit flexible with the measurements of the sideboard, but I don't want it to be a lot thicker than it currently is.I really don't know if I made any sense. I am desperate for any help I can receive. This is driving me nuts and I turn to reddit in a last cry for help. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2LSiJOa
