https://ift.tt/2vu94nq father and I have started to set a new ash floor in our living room. The panels are going to be in a striped pattern and they sit on top of thin foam panels and osb boards. The ash boards are as close as possible to one another. After a couple of stripes the floor has started to mildly squeak in some places. We are nailing the boards with 4cm headless nails in several places on each board and adding extra to areas that bend a bit. Is there a way to prevent the squeaks? I have tried to google the problem but nothing comes up for floors that are yet to be done. Should we leave more space between the boards? Thank you in advance! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2KAHA4h
