I don't even know where to start... This happened so suddenly
For background, I'm studying abroad in Scotland, my next academic year is sponsored by the national health service (tuition and living scholarship), but their bursaries are going to be delayed by a month and school starts next Monday :(
I'm currently at home, I have yet to put down a deposit for an accommodation because I have around £50 in my bank account (that I will need to book my ticket back to Scotland). I have no assets or savings to my name - I have received thousands of pounds in scholarships over the last 4 years, but I've given it all to my family who are equally struggling ATM.
A friend introduced me to student bank accounts and tbe 0%APR overdraft benefit that comes with it, I've applied for it but it's pending approval, so I'm not sure when this is going to be approved (kicking myself for not signing up earlier)
I literally have nowhere to stay until I either get approved or my scholarship arrives.
My current lan is to live in the library and shower at the local gym, but it's not very well thought through. Does anyone have advice for what I can do? Or how to mask my living situation so that my colleagues do not catch on?
...... Tl;dr going to be homeless in less than a week, no savings, what can I do?
