According to this Huffpo article, the average woman spends almost $1,800 on sanitary products in her lifetime. (According to my math using their numbers for cost of tampons, that's $50/year).

You can buy a single menstrual cup for so much cheaper than the yearly cost. I have had one for 3 years (*not going to share the brand, as I understand they are all pretty similar*). I wanted to share this with the (female) r/frugal community, since this is one huge thing I've found that I truly wish I found sooner. Not just for cost savings, but ease of use too, in my experience.
