I'm going into my sophomore year, and I was wondering if now would be a good time to get a credit card. I have work study, but don't work too much because my course load is usually pretty heavy. However, I do receive a lot of financial aid, and have a lot of recurring payments, some big and some small (netflix, spotify, rent, wifi, etc.) Right now, my aid funds get put into my checking account and I make all of my payments out of that (I NEVER miss a payment on anything), so I was wondering if would be even better for me to sign up for a credit card and start building my credit, even if I'm only using it for those small recurring payments. Thoughts?
