I don't want a 1600 ergonomic wonderpiece. I don't have 700 to spend on some weird mesh chair. I like the traditional leather office chair, with the height for my head. But all I can find is $150 dollar stuff at Staples or Amazon. They're great chairs - at first. My current one had a screw snap in half. Gonna try and get it out to replace it tomorrow, need a Home Depot run. But - I'm tired of these chairs breaking! I want a chair I can own for a while, and I want the confidence in it that it won't break on me (another reason I'm hesitant to drop a grand on a chair).

Where can I find these chairs?? Who sells chairs with confidence? The local small business office supply store has closed. Every leather chair online looks like the other, saw one on Wayfair that was $250 cheaper on Amazon. How can I trust any chair??

I like to sit, to recline, prop my feet up, slide down in - really a variety of positions. So chairs that are missing part of the back, or have tiny arm rests that don't connect to the chair - they don't work for me. Any recommendations?? Or should I just accept that these chairs break.

I might be able to complain to Amazon about this chair's screw breaking. Gotta do something to stop the bleeding of a new chair every two years.
