Here is the budget:
| Monthly Income | 4300 |
|---|---|
| Rent | 1450 |
| Debt | 251 |
| Transportation (Metrocard) | 122 |
| Food (Groceries + Non-fancy eating out) | 700 (rounded up from last month) |
| Insurance | 120 |
| Phone | 60 |
| Misc (Brunch, Going Out, occasional lift, shopping) | 250 |
| Subscriptions | 60 |
| Utilities | 50 |
| Savings | 1237 |
Of those savings, $375 goes into a 401K with a 100% match for that amount, currently trying to decide where to put the other savings (in a savings account). My main question is: (1) Should I be saving more -- I think I definitely have the room to eat out less + drop some subscriptions, and (2) What should I be doing with the savings post 401k?
