In six months I turn 26 and get booted off my dad’s insurance. I can’t afford the group plan offered at my job (yes I’m looking for a new one). What do I do?

My job, while full time, is at a non profit and only has a group insurance plan available. The cost to join this plan would be one entire paycheck a month. I am looking for another job, but the market is so quick here that the second I find one and apply, it’s taken just as quick. I live in Wisconsin and do not qualify for Badgercare (state regulated insurance). Any tips?
