Hi all,I've replaced a few ceiling fans without much trouble, but I'm struggling to figure out how to do this particular one. It looks like the bracket from the previous fan is bolted into the ceiling joists as opposed to other ones where you just screw the new bracket into what's already in the ceiling. In addition, the wiring from the house isn't in the ceiling, and it's in a box I can't get to and am assuming I have to go into the attic.So, based on this picture should I remove what is currently there, and if so what should I be looking to buy and secure to the joist?
