Hey r/DIY,So I recently bought this automatic blind engine. The thing itself seems to work fine, but I've run into a problem. My blinds have a beaded chain that you use to pull them up or down (that connect to this machine), but they also have these connectors that connect the two ends of the chains. This is a problem because the machine can't grab on to the connectors, so the blind automation fails halfway down.My question is whether anyone has any ideas on how to connect two ends of a beaded chain without one of these connectors, essentially creating a seamless chain. I've tried super gluing the two ends to no avail.
