I'm getting very down over the debt lifestyle, namely mortgage and a personal loan plus other various expenses that have gotten away from me. I have an opportunity to sell up, move further out into a smaller place and be completely debt free + money in the bank + most earnings going straight into savings. It would be a radical lifestyle change to go from city to more rural. But I can see myself sitting on that porch, debt free and feeling the huge weight off my shoulders. But, I am also unsure if I have the balls to do this, having been a wage slave for 20+ yrs why do I fear the leap?
