Hey everyone, wanted to get your advice. We're based in NJ/NYC.
- My 58yo dad suffered a stroke last week and stayed in the hospital for 6 days straight.
- He's back home now, but doesn't have insurance. My mom imagines these out-of-pocket expenses may possibly bankrupt us.
- He's now taking blood pressure meds/pills 4x a day and going to see multiple specialists (cardiologist, physician, etc.).
- We've looked at insurance plans, but most of these sales folks are selling BS. It's also difficult as he has a pre-existing condition.
- Can anyone recommend any insurance options?
