I currently have a 529 for my child who is <1 year old. I was checking on the asset allocation today and it is currently 100% set in:
"Vanguard Aggressive Age-Based Option: 10% Stock/90% Bond Portfolio"
I thought that Age-Based would be more aggressive when they are younger and more conservative they are older, but those percentages seem to indicate otherwise.
There are a LOT of options for Vanguard 529 asset allocations. Does anybody have any guidance given a ~17 year event horizon on this investment?
Thanks!
