Hello personal finance I need some advice.
My wife works as an executive assistant/office admin for a solar company. She works over 10 hours a day when she is expected to only do 8. It is a very poisonous work environment and she has been contemplating to find another job. Today her boss came to her and said that she should quit because she is not aligned with their office culture (She was hired to change the culture in the office).
He said that he will give her time to look for another job. Which we aren't exactly sure what that entails since it just happened. I feel they are doing this to avoid any unemployment payment issues? We are in California and any advice would be appreciated.
