Not sure if this is the best place to post this but if anyone has a suggestion for a better sub let me know.
I have a window A/C unit with settings for Fan Speed and for Mode, plus a temperature selection. Fan Speed can be on low, med, high or auto. Mode can be Fan Only, Energy Saver or Cool. The lowest temperature I can select is 64 F and I always have it here. When I am in my room, I typically keep it on low/energy saver, but for those really hot days, I'm wondering what the energy usage difference would be between cool/low and energy saver/medium, or other combinations of settings. Because ultimately I want to cool my room as quickly as possible so I can turn the unit down or off to save money. Does what I'm asking even make sense?
