I'd recently bought a decent pull up bar which was wall mounted , I had not done most of the basic research work regarding how to fix it onto it then and had bought it too , But now that I got it I did some research and had found out from other reddit posts ( around 6 similar to mine ) a bit on how to solve my problemThe pull up bar : https://ift.tt/2tkMaNB up bar is approx 26 cm tooMy problem : Well the basic problem is that my wall was hollow brick wall , due to which it probably wont be able to withhold the weight of me and the pull up barThe main screws I received along with my pullup bar were 8 expansion bolts / screwsI have done a few amount of research now ( at minimum 4-5 hrs ) and have found that if I fix it onto the wall , it would break off and also that most people had attached a 2x10 or 2x6 wooden planks to the wall and attached the pull up bar to the wood insteadBut since im totally new to masonry or carpenting , I would like if you guys could provide me with some tips / help to attach it to the wall and if this is my only way to do it in the case of a hollow brick wallIf you are asking regarding the manual , all I got was to how to screw the screws into the pull up bar not the wall and it had bad english as well ( Chinese product )[ I'm not doing this because im too lazy to search this on google or anything , just that I did a good amount of research to the limits of my knowledge , but not completely sure still how to attach it ]One of the links regarding my same problem in reddit but couldnt quite get it : https://ift.tt/2t3mYM5 you via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2tdU4s0
