We need to move from the Midwest to the Northwest. We sold most of our furniture and only are bringing some sentimental items (rocking chair that was my dad's, kitchen table/chairs that can't be replace and lots of boxes). I think they will all fit in one relo cube, but it may take two cubes as I always have more than I think I do. Now the questions.

Should we go with trailer space or relo cubes? We will pack everything well with lots of padding, but which one is more gentle for the contents?

Should we get insurance? Our homeowners will not cover the move. Since we will be packing the trailer or the cube, I'm concerned that if something is damaged the insurance company will say it is because we did not pack it well.
