Looking for a main blanket/comforter in which to sleep with, but the catch is i dont want something super hot and super lightweight, I want something that does not provide a whole lot of insulation, but adds alot of weight.
I tend to sleep very hot, yet ive found the psychological feel of heavy blankets extremely comforting and help me to sleep, which i can struggle with.
Most blankets and comforters are based around maximizing insulation to weight ratio, like what nature has already done with down, and I want the exact opposite.
i have an old comforter i had from when i was a kid still, its some kind of material other than down, maybe wool or cotton? its not fluffy anymore which is good, but its plenty heavy combined with another blanket. Its falling apart however and not something i use at college.
