in order to prevent being charged $55 per room plus labor for repainting the apartment, we were told that we could prime the walls to avoid this fee.I know the bedrooms and family room can use regular primer (or ceiling paint, whichever is cheaper), but not sure about the bathroom and kitchen. is it the same type of primer? Should we just use actual paint in the kitchen/bathroom? Which type? I have heard of some people using semigloss or gloss, or satin. Then there is also actual bathroom paint. We are trying to get away with the cheapest cost to us, since we know they will probably repaint anyway, just trying to avoid the fees for the repainting. What should we use in the kitchen/bathroom? If we can use regular semi-gloss paint, we already have almost a whole gallon of that from when we painted the trim in our new house. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2tDVlIT
