I donated 3,180 square yards of carbon fiber to a university. Market price is $100-200 per square yard. So $318,000 to $636,000 donation. Once I figure out what the exact price is, what do I do next?
Is there an update limit to what I can claim each year from this donation?
Can I break it up each for x number of years?
Also I paid below market price for the product, but to replace it is $100-200/sqr yard because it was a material used for testing/research. Once the research concluded the raw.mateeial could be sex for production at the company. So rather than despising of it at hundreds of dollars per lbs, they decided to auction it off for less than market value. Can I claim comercial prices on this?
