This may be the wrong place to ask, but as a Canadian I see houses in Detroit for ridiculously cheap. Like 20-50 thousand USD. What are the potential problems with purchasing one of these homes as an investment property? Are rents like $100 a month? Or are the houses in need of so much repair to make it not worth it?
Just curious.
