So recently my car got broken into and stolen, it’s since been recovered, however it’s completely wrecked. The window was broken and the car hot wired, you can visibly see under the steering wheel panels they’ve ripped off to start the car.
An insurance claim was made, they’re currently requesting the keys from my car. Only problem is I lost the pair of keys after the car got broken into, while out with a few friends, as I always carried them with me out of habit.
I have a another key, however I’m worried they’ll use this as a reason to deny my claim. Is there anything I can do or am I all out of luck
