I am planning on getting my own place preferably within the year. Right now I do not have to move it is just a desire. Rent where I live is high for what you get so I am torn between renting and buying. I am from this area and plan on staying here at least another 5 years probably longer. I have done the math and for the type of house I would like a mortgage would actually be cheaper than renting, even including insurance and property taxes. I was wondering if you guys have any thoughts or suggestions for me.
