Album here: https://ift.tt/2Ldyb3e has been quite the adventure. We just bought a house in New England, built in 1900. The laminate floors were installed really poorly and were ugly so we decided to re-do the first floor with new pre-finished hickory (Bruce/Armstrong) and some cork (USFloors). The dining room in particular (what the album covers) has about 6 layers on top of the original hardwood that we just uncovered today. We’d assumed it was gone and we’d just pull out everything down to the planks, put down plywood, and install our new floors, but now we’re thinking of refinishing and keeping the original stuff. It’s still only partially uncovered so we don’t know the condition of the entire floor yet, but it’s been fun so far so I thought I’d share! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2HfoE9o
