So, I wanted to replace a light switch and a wall mounted light to two receptacles. When I removed the old devices, each gang box only has one set of wires coming into it (hot neutral ground).Obviously I expected one of the boxes to have two sets of wire (one going to the panel or other devices). I'm correct in thinking that since there is only one set in each box, there must be a junction box somewhere where they connect along with another set that goes to the panel, right?
