Hello all,
I'm searching for some sturdy general-purpose scissors (paper, packaging, and anything else I happen to lay my hands on). I've got a couple pairs of scissors in my drawer that I'd bought previously, but they're lower-end Westcott and Fiskars, and they just don't hold up well to opening tough things like clamshell packaging (they flex like none other). Looking for 8" or 10" (probably want to go 10").
The problem I have when searching for scissors, is I keep reading about people in this sub saying "only use knife-edge scissors on fabric! Use scissors with a lower edge angle, meant for paper." But I've been having great difficulty finding anyone that actually gives examples.
Anyone know of some good, sturdy (preferably all-metal, or at least a full metal frame through a plastic/rubbery handle), general-purpose scissors?
Thanks
