I'm so lost in life.. I wish there was a class on everything I need to know as an adult because I don't even know what I don't know. Some history, After struggling through highschool I managed to get a 29 on my act and was accepted into a local college that my grandparents all but forced me into. I was miserably sad and depressed, had difficulty focusing so I ended up being put on academic suspension after a year or two. Now I have about $14,000 in student loan debt with nothing to show for it except a low gpa and no degree. My only work experience is 3 years of working at a restaurant where I worked my way up to assistant manager, running an excavator with a hydraulic shears attachment for a few months, and siding a house for about a week. I'm currently unemployed. I started out being responsible with my credit card and paying it off in full each month but now I have $8,000 in debt on a card with a 0% apr promotion that ends this September. When it ends I plan to switch it over to another 0% apr card. I feel like the best job I can get right now is a manufacturing/production job where I make $16/hour. I'll be miserable but debt free in two years. Any advice/guidance would be much appreciated.
