I have a problem in that I have two dodgy sources of water. I want to switch to one and use a filter to make it safer but I can't decide which.
The first is the tap for my extremely dodgy apartment complex. It belches out red stuff when you don't turn it out too long and the place is well...lets just say theres recurrent problems in some places with infestation.
The second source is bottled water from the store.
I want to choose one of these to treat with some sort of filtration system and use as my primary drinking water but I'm not sure which one it should be.
Once I pick a source I would like pointers to the best water filtration/sterilization system I can get without installing directly into the water lines. Or at least something that removes plastics, bpa and/or bacteria and that sort of stuff.
